The Labor Department reported last week that the unemployment rate fell to a 50-year low, but wage growth stalled. However, economists have found that wage growth has been truly stagnant only for workers in high-wage industries, such as medicine and consulting. Roughly 37% of Californians aged 18-34 live with their parents, but California is not the only state with a high rate of young adults living with mom and dad.
