Mark’s Minute: Pious Drinking

A History of Pious Drinking

Many of you enjoy the stories that I share in my presentations and some of you even approach me afterwards ask, “Where do you get this stuff?”

Because I spend so much time in hotel rooms and on airplanes, I have a lot of downtime to read. Sometimes I come across an article that makes me think…isn’t that interesting, and rather than just sharing it during my live presentations, I am now posting them as well.

During this period of gift giving and merriment, I think you will really enjoy this article on alcohol and how it was perfected by religious orders, and what person’s name will forever be associated with a fine wine after allegedly exclaiming, “Brothers, come quickly. I am drinking stars!”
